This week I wrote a poem for you. Last week I wrote a piece on chaos (‘…and chaos’), in which I was ready to invite more chaos in life. I committed to more meditation (see: ‘into order…’) to find more order and stability, and to prepare myself for the chaos that sooner than later would find its way back into my life. And it definitely was sooner than later. I have had much chaos to deal with these last weeks, on which I will reflect in a later post, and through it, combined with being in deep meditation, I had many realisations.
I saw the unseen.
I see now the seeable, which
before I was unable to see.
Realities past reveries,
Behaviour and being,
old patterns lived,
Presently to be lived
without.
So, in other words, I say I see now..as precisely is the title of the poem I share with you today:
I see now
Eyes closed,
I see
a semblance
of self,
withholding
discomfort.
Dozed off
in comfort.
Lids blanketed,
by time and
untruth,
it is darkness I
withheld
myself,
the light,
too bright
to bear.
Imperfections
of reality
bare,
coming to light
Respons
ability to bear.
Exposed.
Naked
Truth.
Uncovered
understanding,
unwilling
to see I
close
the eyes
open before.
Now one eye open
I peak and peer
into its reverie,
unreal to unsee.
I blink and blind
myself for
unforeseen
fabrications,
figments of
imagination,
remnants of
real dreams
where
reality meets
as seen
in mirrors of
reflections, a
reminder
of truth
but with
or without
I see reds and blues,
strokes of broken
realness, and close
the king’s one eye,
too blind
to see.Open eyes
in the sky
I see now,
twos abide.
The two meet,
dream and reverie,
mingle and merge
Into a single
truth. Past
in shambles,
future trues
shattered.
A present
In pieces and
peace to which
I surrender
to see
all the unseen.
To anew an
old me,
Into a new
me, aware,
I open the eyes,
abro
mis ojos so,
in a silent way
I see now
never to
unsee
all unseen
before,
eyes open.
